Tristen Durocher – Fiddle

Tristen Durocher is a 23 year old Metis fiddle player, photographer, and writer from Northern Saskatchewan. He started playing fiddle at the age of 9 after attending the John Arcand Fiddle Fest with his grandparents Frank and Laura. Since starting fiddle, Tristen has taught at fiddle camps and cultural festivals, performed across Canada and won provincial fiddle competitions in the Traditional Metis Category at the John Arcand Fiddle Fest and the annual cultural festival at Batoche Saskatchewan. Tristens favorite hobbies include reading, drinking tea, writing, and photographing wildlife and landscapes.
