Violinist Hannah Lissel-DeCorby, born and raised in Saskatoon, is a third year music performance student at the University of Saskatchewan. She began her violin studies at the age of three in the studio of James Legge, and has more recently been studying under Professor Robert Klose. Hannah has been performing with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra since the age of 17, and has had the opportunity to perform with multiple other ensembles including Prairie Virtuoso, the Provincial Honour Orchestra and the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra. She was recently the winner of the the 2018 Saskatoon Kinsmen competition, the 2017/2018 Saskatoon Youth Orchestra concerto competition, and has placed first in the Saskatoon Provincial Music Festival twice.
