Back by popular demand, the Strata Festival of New Music presents another night of newly composed live film scores for short film!  Independent filmmakers Weiye Su, Matt Ripplinger, and Kesu Unnithan have been paired with emerging composers: Silas Friesen, Clinton Ackerman, and Kirsten Ewart in the creation of new soundtracks for existing film works.  Tickets are $15 each and available at McNally Robinson.

The Strata Festival of New Music presents a new performance by artist Michel Boutin with a concert featuring Métis fiddler Tristan Durocher, sound artist, Tod Emel, and poet, Janelle Pewapsconias. Produced in partnership with the Indigenous Peoples Artist Collective, Holophon Audio Arts, and Remai Modern.  Admission is free with gallery admission or membership.

The Strata Festival of New Music is proud to welcome 2019 Guest Composer Alain Perron of Regina.  Members of the Strata Ensemble will present works by Perron in a concert featuring all-prairie composers.  Tickets are $10 each and available at McNally Robinson.

The Strata Festival of New Music presents a truly unique concert experience!  Audience members will be transported aboard the Prairie Lily riverboat THROUGH two newly composed site-specific works for brass.  Three instrumental ensembles will be positioned along the riverbank playing out towards the moving audience in a constantly morphing, immersive sound experience.  Tickets are $25 each and available at McNally Robinson.
